Explore Through Food

You will find several absolutely stunning countries engulfed in the beauty of their surroundings and their people. And like most places, there is no better way to understand the culture and people of the place than through the food they eat. It is one of the reasons why people choose to travel to exotic places and see the world, to embark on a journey through their taste buds as well. And food makes that possible.

Don’t believe us? Shut your eyes for a second, maybe more. Let your mind travel immediately to the place you want to visit or have visited already. Now imagine that same place, through a bite of the most popular or your favourite dish from the local cuisine. It could be anything - chicken momos in Nepal, chhole bhature in Delhi or even hot dogs in California. Now, notice the smile on your face and the drool from your mouth? That’s what food does to someone, it opens up doors to entirely new cultures and lets you travel without even moving an inch.

Food culture is as important for us as tourists as it is for the locals themselves. We all grow up eating the food of our cultures, and eventually, it grows into a part of who we are. And the same goes for those who feed us this culture with every spoonful. And that same culture is passed down from generation to generation while spreading throughout the world as well, as we try to recreate the food we fell in love with, elsewhere. Whether it is the Tibetan readymade momos now across Asia, pizzas across the west, or even Persian delicacies seeping into Oceania - you’ll find a little of every culture throughout, which is what makes food special. It has connected people for generations and will continue to do so onwards.
